Things we did in October
So October was really fun. We did a couple of things we first went to this indoor kids playground where they have slides and air filled jumping playgrounds. Cannon really loved it and was the bravest one of the kids to try new things. He loved going down the slides. We went with our friends the Spicers to a Corn maze on the outskirts of San Antonio. There we brought our own food and ate it there. The types of activities they had were corn blasters where you would shoot corn at target with compressed air. Then we played on the hay stacks and slide down the big plastic slide. We went on a hay ride and the boys loved the barrell ride. Finnaly we did the corn maze which was really huge. They had it divided up into two parts and then they gave us questions to answer at certain spots in the maze and that would help us in the right direction. When Halloween came around Cannon was dressed up as a Christmas elf. Ronda made the costume and she did a fantastic job. Thanks Ronda for making it. We then went over to the ward party and had food to eat and did some trick or treating. That was about the whole month of October in a nut shell.

Cannon is swimming at 15 months
Here is the footage that we took of Cannon swimming. He started at 15 months and this is at 16 months the first time he went swimming with floaters on he didn't know how to control his breathing. It seemed like he was in a panic yet excited state. The second time however he was like how he is in this video. He has picked up easily the rhythm of kicking his feet. We are very proud of him.

Thinking of Grandma Hansen
Hey family one night I wanted to make some home made cookies. I used the recipe on the back of the Tollhouse bag. As I was making them it brought back great memories of Grandma Hansen making cookies at our house. They turned out just like hers. They were delicious. Sisters, even though we made fun of Grandma's one bite cookies, but when she was in her prime grandma stage those cookies were the best and I didn't mind back then and I don't mind now if they were a one bite cookie. Like I said they were really good and we added another step the Price family does right when you take them out of the oven that made them more gooey. I would still take a good old batch of Grandmas cookies anyday and her making them for me.
